Good food, nice ambiance and good customer service. We ordered one Tom kha hot pot and one panang Curry(both vegetarian). Very good taste and awesome spice level. The portion size was also quite decent. Overall a nice experience

So delicious! We had the Panang Curry and the Pad Thai and they were both so good. Definitely some of the best Thai I've ever had! As a side note, don't order the cheapest wine on the menu, it wasnt very good. I would add a photo of the food but we devoured it.

I loved this restaurant! I am a very average spicy food eater, spicy level 3 was perfect for me here. The food was delicious, and I really liked the vibe of the place. The dtaff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a favorite restaurant of mine in this area!

Good restaurant with a nice, open interior. Recommend the spices Thai dumpling as appetizers, they have the best sauce. Pattaya pineapple, crab meat fried rice, angel wings, and the satay appetizer are all standout dishes as well. Service is fast and polite.

Shared a noodle dish and a ribs dish with my wife. Excellent flavors, great service, reasonable prices. Recommended

Lunch menu is really good with soup, salad, spring rolls, rice and main course and all for about 10 usd with good taste ... I love it.

Wonderful lunch menu. Includes entree, soup, and eggroll & wonton. We had a short time line and were in and out quickly...especially considering it is a sit down restaurant. The staff was very attentive and took our order right away. Pad Thai (spicy factor 6) was great. My husband ordered a curry (I forget which one) and it was creamy with basil. Yum! I look forward to coming again.

I'm not a Thai food expert, so I can't speak to authenticity, but it is certainly very tasty and plenty of it for a good price. The soup is delicious and the Phad Thai noodles have crisp, well cooked vegetables. I had chicken with the noodles and the chicken was moist and tasty. I enjoy spicy food but am not a heat freak. That said, 3 heat was still very mild after an initial burst of heat. Service was prompt and efficient. It's a nice place to eat just off the freeway with the interior decoration is very nice, making a comfortable lunch location.

I love coming here, and so will you. Not only is the food excellent, but it is spacious, and the couple who owns it are the sweetest people.

The yellow curry with chicken and chicken pad see yew rule here. I have come back multiple times, and they consistently knock it out if the park. I think this is the best Thai food in San Diego County

The food tastes amazing. However my cousin was bothered by the depressing anime music that was being played. Asude from that, everything was great. The people are super friendly.

Pailin is a quiet neighborhood restaurant with a nice wall decor representative of Thailand. Food is freshly prepared, and service is good. It is an everyday eatery, nothing fancy. Prices are super reasonable for the quantity served. The appetizer creations, stir-fry dishes and curries are delicious. As every Thai restaurant, Pailin can adapt the hotness level to one's liking (1-10 scale). My particular favorite is the Tom Kha soup - loaded with veggies in coconut-flavored base and no fish sauce which is over-powering to my taste buds, and many other restaurants put in their soups.

Meh. Blunt, overspiced food. Calamari tasted rubbery and distinctly not fresh. Glimpse at the kitchen area was not very appetizing ether

The food here is fresh and has lots of flavor. I love the spring rolls and the chicken with cashew. I also had the cucumber salad. A bit expensive but worth it.

My wife have been coming here for awhile and we really like this place. Its somewhat hidden but around the RB carmel mountain area this place is a good place for Thai food. Service is good and the owner is really nice.

Best Thai restaurant around. Owners always remember my order and are super nice. No Thai restaurant on Convoy comes close to the mouth watering flavors of Pailin.

I really enjoy this place, one of the few Thai places that still use real pineapple in some foods they make. Yum yum. Advice to spice lovers, this place does spice on the Thai scale not the American scale so be cautious when you ask for a 6 or above. Enjoy.

Best Thai in Rancho Bernardo. Been coming for past 17 years and nothing good it. Full authentic Thai.

I would give it a five but I noticed they forgot our rice until we got home after I noticed in our pics. We went for my birthday around 1 for lunch we were the only customers. I remember I even asked the manager if I could swap the white rice for different rice and he said no. Aside that our food was delicious just wish we would have gotten our side of ride which was included in our lunch special.

I love in east hemet about 1 hour n 15 mns away from this place and let me tell you something it worth the time and the travel just to go to San Diego and eat there ! My other favorite thai place is in San Diego in the Hillcrest area , trust me on this one I work all over California and I find few places that I love to make or leave a review on the restaurants and this one is one of them .... eat and enjoy the hospitality of the owner nice and cool man.....

Nice service, quiet atmosphere and good food. Prices were very reasonable. Spiciness level was considerably lower than expected. Requesting an "8," I got what some other Thai places would call a "4." I guess it can be difficult to standardize subjective things like that, but I expected a lot more heat compared to other Thai experiences. Even so, a enjoyable stop. I'll be happy to return.

Best Thai food in Southern California. We always stop here whenever we travel to San Diego. Not only the food is delicious, but great atmosphere. Not to mention easy freeway access.
